Workshop on the value of Earth Observation at ESA-ESRIN

On July 1-3 the GEOValue Community organised at ESA-ESRIN (Frascati, Italy) a workshop aimed at advancing the understanding and measurement of the societal benefits of Earth Observations.


RI-PATHS' partners published the third project newsletter

The RI-PATHS team has concluded a highly interactive and participatory phase of the project which was dedicated to sourcing input from the Research Infrastructure community on key building blocks for developing a comprehensive framework on socio-economic impact. 


NEW publication: How to tackle challenges in a future-oriented EU industrial strategy?

CSIL authored a study, requested by the ITRE committee of the European Parliament, looking at how the goals for a renewed EU Industrial Policy Strategy could be achieved in short to medium term, with a focus on current and expected challenges for the EU industry in the current political context.


NEW publication: Cluster programmes in Europe and beyond

What are European policymakers doing to support clusters? What are the objectives of cluster policies? How does the European cluster policy landscape compare with the US, China and Canada? CSIL contributed to a new publication that answers these and many other cluster policy-related questions. 



Support Services for Would-be Entrepreneurs and Newly Established Businesses

CSIL is participating to a project, initiated and funded by DG GROW of the European Commission, that is identifying and examining support services across 42 countries for individuals who want to establish businesses and for new businesses in the early years of their operation. Find out more on the

Ex post evaluation of Major Projects

CSIL, together with Ramboll, Significance and Tplan, completed the Ex post evaluation of Major Projects in the transport sector supported by the ERDF and Cohesion Fund between 2000 and 2013. The study is available on the website of the DG REGIO
